Strong Infrastructure
Douglas-Coffee County is a forward-thinking community, ensuring that critical infrastructure needs are accurately projected and addressed.
The county continues to put significant capital investment in both new infrastructure and maintenance, helping to ensure businesses have the necessary public facilities to thrive. We actively work with businesses and developers to ensure all utility and infrastructure needs are available to help your business.
Utilities
Coffee County is served by three major companies that provide electric power to your business: City of Douglas Utilities, Georgia Power Company, and Satilla REMC.
City of Douglas Utilities also meets the area’s needs for natural gas, water, and sewer.
Several telecommunications carriers compete to provide fiber optic data, wireless internet, and voice to meet business needs.
Roads
Douglas-Coffee County is conveniently situated between four interstate highways (I-75, I-95, I-16, and I-10). The industrial parks have utilities and access roads, and have access to four-lane Georgia Highway 82 to its intersection with I-75.
